Port1.2.1 Special Needs Ministry serves…
our children with physical and/or developmental disabilities at Adventure Christian Church by providing them a safe environment where they can get the extra love and understanding they need in order to receive God’s message each week. Our desire is for these children to experience the love of God in whatever capacity they may be able to with the helping hands of an experienced team of volunteers.
If you have a child with special needs please contact Carolyn Riviello at riviello.carolyn@gmail.com to find out how we can best teach him or her the love of Jesus.
Making a Difference…One life at a time
Are you being called by God to serve in Port 1.2.1 with these special needs children who are such a blessing to our church? At Adventure you too can make a difference in the life of a young child with special needs. The Port1.2.1 volunteer team is comprised of parents with special needs kids, therapists, current teachers, former teachers, class aides, and those just hearing their heart being called to reach out to these special children. By doing so parents can attend service with the assurance that their child is in the care of volunteers that will love and nurture each one in a safe environment and ensure they are hearing how much Jesus loves them.
If you want to see how God can use you to bring hope to His precious little ones with special needs please contact Carolyn Riviello at riviello.carolyn@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you and share our vision for our special needs ministry and find a place for you to serve. You can choose to serve in our classroom every Sunday at 11:00am or occasionally. The choice is yours – the blessings will be beyond measure.
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!” – Romans 10:14
